Our club was founded in 1997 as TGIF – The Golf International Friendship Society. We became a club, TGIF Golf Sports Club in 1999 and were registered as an association. We became a member of Turkish Golf Federation in same year. We changed our name to AGK – Ankara Golf Kulubu in 2008.

Çok Değerli Arkadaşlarım,
Kulübümuz geleneğinde olmayan ve ilk kez başlatılan ve bundan böyle devam edecek Kaptanlık görevini, Haziran 2009 itibari ile üstlenmiş bulunmaktayım.
Sizlerin katkılarıyla, sahası olmayan klübümüzü bu büyük eksiğine rağmen Türkiye'nin en imrenilen klübü haline getirmek ve genç golfçülerin yetişmesini sağlamak büyük amacım ve görevim olacaktır.

I was born in Ordu Akkus in 1976. I started working as a caddy in Istanbul Golf Club in 1992, when I was living in Istanbul during high school. This is how my golf adventure begin. As time passed Golf turned on to be a passion more then a day job.
In my spare times I practiced and worked on golf theory and started learning about golf. I started attending Golf Tournaments and winning. In 2000-2001 I became professional and took the golf coacher's training given by the Turkish Golf Federation.
Since 2002 I have been teaching Golf at Ankara Golf Club and Ankara Ahlatlibel Golf premises of TGF. We introduced hundreds of people to golf here. With the "children's program" offered every year we are trying to attract everyone from young ages to golf.
